The proximity was the best part. Otherwise, it was okay. The humid smell in the bedroom next to the bathroom was unpleasant. The fridge kept making sounds throughout the night. No privacy as main window (that doesn't open...) is straight on the back street.

This was, without a doubt, the worst part of our trip to Batroun. Booking this Airbnb was the biggest mistake we made. From the moment we arrived, we faced one issue after another. The AC in the living room wasn’t working, and we had to wait until the following day (around midday) for it to be fixed. During that time, we had to call the host more than five times, and the repeated maintenance visits completely disrupted our plans. One of the bedrooms had no AC remote. We spent around three hours trying to figure it out ourselves before discovering that another remote could operate it. We had contacted the host, but nobody informed us of this simple solution. The AC technician had to come multiple times because the issue wasn’t fixed on the first visit. Even after that, the AC in one of the bedrooms remained extremely weak, making the room uncomfortable to sleep in. I personally became sick during the stay. The living room window couldn’t be opened because the lock was broken. The Wi
