For centuries, Al Biyad thrived as a humble fishing village and agricultural haven, where families nurtured olives, figs, and citrus trees, and gathered to share stories beneath starlit skies.

During the Ottoman era, Al Biyad served as a peaceful refuge for fishermen and traders, its stone houses and terraced fields standing as timeless symbols of a life deeply connected to land and sea. Though small, the village was a vital part of Berbara’s rich heritage — a sanctuary of warmth, tradition, and community.
