The Square House - Berbara

The property itself is charming, clean, and equipped with all the basic amenities needed for a comfortable stay. However, our overall experience was overshadowed by the way it is marketed. As returning guests of Bet El Berbara, we booked this property because the listing prominently features photos of Bet El Berbara, leading us to reasonably believe it was part of the same property. It was only after booking that we discovered it is a separate accommodation managed by StayInn. The current presentation is misleading. During our stay, we also experienced plumbing issues, which were resolved after we contacted the host. Unfortunately, we also had repeated and prolonged electricity cuts throughout our stay, and while we understand these may have been outside the host’s control, they still significantly affected the experience. Bet El Berbara itself remains a wonderful property with exceptional hospitality and experience.

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the place. One of the highlights is the amazing pool next door. Just keep in mind that if you’re traveling with young kids, you’ll need to cross the road to reach it, so some extra supervision is needed. Overall, I would say this place is best suited for couples or adults looking for a relaxing getaway, though families can still enjoy it with that in mind.

Unfortunately, our experience wasn't great. When we arrived, we noticed that the apartment wasn't properly cleaned. There were ants inside, the apartment had an unpleasant smell, the dishwashing sponge was dirty, and the towels didn't seem freshly washed. It honestly made us question whether the place had been cleaned before our arrival. The location was fine, but the cleanliness needs significant improvement.
